The Hofstra women's season will start off with a bang on November 11 as the Pride travels out west to face Gonzaga. The Zags advanced to the NCAA Elite 8 last season.
It doesn't get any easier in November for coach Krista Kilburn-Steveskey's crew, which also faces NCAA qualifiers St. John's and Kansas State. Hartford and Princeton also highlight the Pride's non-conference schedule. Hofstra will host Central Connecticut State on day one of its own Holiday Tournament. The Pride will face the winner or loser of Auburn vs. Marist on the second day.
Hofstra, led by AP All-American Honorable mention selection Shante Evans, went 19-12 (10-8 CAA) last season and finished tied for fifth in conference play.
