There was no change in the men's top five, as Texas held the number one spot for the second straight week. Michigan State and Duke each moved up one place to seventh and eighth, respectively. Tennessee also moved up one place to eight.

Pittsburgh moved up seven places to ninth, while Kansas State continues to roll and moved from 13th to 10th. Purdue took a huge tumble from sixth to 13th, while North Carolina fell off the cliff, dropping from 12th to 24th. Mississippi State entered the poll for the first time along with Northern Iowa. Ohio State also entered the poll after a month's absence. 

Connecticut, Miami and Florida State all dropped out of the poll.

WOMEN'S POLL

There was slight movement in the top five as Notre Dame and Tennessee swapped places. Duke moved up one place to sixth, while Nebraska crashed the top 10 and it sitting at seven, up four places from last week. Georgia dropped to spots to eighth, Texas A&M moved down one place to ninth and Baylor dropped one to 10th. North Carolina fell four places to 14th, while LSU dropped six spots to 18th.

Vanderbilt entered the poll at 21, while Vermont debuted in the poll at 24th. Michigan State and Miami dropped out of the poll. Locally, St. John's received 13 votes.
