North Carolina's Tyler Zeller out 4 to 6 weeks
North Carolina center Tyler Zeller is expected to miss four to six weeks with a stress fracture in his right foot, Tar Heels coach Roy Williams announced Friday.
The 7-foot sophomore, who's averaging 9.6. points and 4.6 rebounds off the bench, didn't play in North Carolina's 83-64 loss at Clemson on Wednesday.
Zeller missed three months last season after breaking his left wrist in a game against Kentucky.
Freshman forward Travis Wear is expected to be the first big man off the bench for No.12 North Carolina (12-5, 1-1 ACC).
