McDaniels sparks USMMA football win

Matthew McDaniels ran for 137 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries and threw a 15-yard scoring pass as USMMA returned from a three-week layoff and cruised past Worcester Polytechnic Institute, 26-14, yesterday in Liberty Conference football.
McDaniels scored on a 78-yard run with 11:41 left in the second quarter to give USMMA (4-1, 1-1) a 20-0 lead.
Zachary Boucher ran for 103 yards on 21 carries and had two TDs, including a 1-yard run with 9:02 left for the final margin. WPI is 2-5, 1-3.
Nassau CC 48, Louisburg 6:Backup quarterback Anthony Robbins threw for 250 yards and three touchdowns for Nassau CC (8-1) in Northeast Conference. Antoine Grant had 11 receptions for 185 yards and three TDs and Yahkee Johnson rushed for 130 yards and three scores on 10 carries. Moses White had eight tackles, including four for a loss and a sack in the win. Louisburg is 5-3.
Stonehill 38, LIU Post 28: Steven Laurino threw for 404 yards, two TDs and four interceptions as Post (3-5, 2-5) couldn't hold on to a 14-0 lead in Northeast-10 football. Stonehill is 6-2, 6-1.
