Oklahoma No. 1 in first BCS standings
Oregon may be No. 1 in the human polls, but Oklahoma is No. 1 in the rankings that really count.
The Sooners have the top spot in the first BCS standings of the season. Oklahoma, however, still has some tough games to go, including a trip to unbeaten Missouri on Saturday night.
Oregon, No. 1 in both the AP and USA Today polls, is No. 2 in the BCS standings. The Ducks are eighth in the computer rankings.
Boise State, despite wins over Virginia Tech and Oregon State, is just third in the BCS standings and seventh in the computer rankings.
