Tom Coughlin has had a number of meetings with players in recent days. He met with Antrel Rolle on Tuesday afternoon to discuss Rolle’s radio interview, and on Monday he met with Brandon Jacobs to discuss, well, a lot of things.

“Whatever the questions were, they were answered specifically,” Coughlin said, a likely reference to further clarification and definition of Jacobs’ roll in the offense. But there was more.

“The discussion led to some of the other areas, the professionalism in terms of meeting with the media and that sort of thing,” Coughlin said. “I’m hoping that the lesson learned from last week as well, with the helmet, I’m hoping that Brandon can grasp the importance of keeping your poise, keeping your cool, that type of thing.”
