David Diehl had one of the worst games of his career on Sunday night. He hopes it remains the worst. He even threw in a little Broadway Joe "guarantee" for good measure.

“The most important thing is I’ve watched film, I’ve looked at that thing,” he said. “I’m a guy with a lot of pride and a lot on the line. There’s nothing I can do to change that game. The only thing I can do is learn from it and make sure that it doesn’t happen again. I know as a player I guarantee anything like that won’t happen again regardless of what the situation is, the circumstances. I’m going to work to make sure that nothing like that ever happens again. That’s the type of attitude I have. I believe in myself and my abilities.”

Diehl wasn’t shying away from the media after Dwight Freeney dominated him in the Colts game.

“There are times where you’re going to have rough days and things aren’t going to be perfect,” he said. “But the most important thing is for you stand up, learn from it and move forward. I think it’s just like that for anybody. When things are great you have to be gracious and when things are bad you have to be humble and you have to learn from it.”
