Pace on the trainer's room: "It’s like sitting in an insane asylum"

Calvin Pace made his appearance on the practice field Wednesday, though he didn’t participate in team drills.
Still, Rex Ryan isn’t ruling out a Pace sighting in Sunday’s game against Buffalo.
“I think of the two (Darrelle Revis and Pace), I think Calvin’s got a better chance to play,” he said. “…I’d like to see him get out there and practice a little so hopefully we can see that tomorrow.”
The coach also said if Pace can play, he’ll consider using him in limited situations, such as third-downs.
But Pace – who likened being cooped up in the trainer’s room to being in an insane asylum – said he’s optimistic he’ll be ready by Sunday, but doesn’t want to take any chances.
“The goal is to not have any setbacks,” said Pace, who attended full team meeting for the first time since suffering the foot injury. “I don’t want to go out there and jeopardize a couple of weeks just for one practice. I’m still taking baby steps, but I’m getting better.”
