Cyrus Clarke came off the bench with seven seconds left and hit a game-winning three-pointer (his only points of the game) from the wing with 1.7 seconds left in Malverne's 65-64 win at Friends Academy Tuesday in Conference BC boys basketball. It was Malverne's first lead of the second half. Cory Alexander led Malverne (5-0) with 27 points and eight assists, and Anthony Moultre added 13 points and 11 rebounds. Marc Godlis led Friends Academy (3-1) with 19 points.

Freeport 52, Uniondale 45: Anthony Durham scored five of his 15 points in a 13-8 third quarter that ended with Freeport (4-1) ahead 33-29 in Conference AA-I. Leondre Simmon added 12 points and seven assists, and Isaiah Barnes had 10 rebounds. Shaq Mosley scored 15 points for Uniondale (3-1).Garden City 75, Westbury 73: Griffin Eilbech scored the winning layup on a feed from James Cauchi with 3.8 seconds left in overtime for Garden City (3-1) in Conference A-I. Eilbech finished with 16 points, and Ed Blatz scored 16 of his 18 in the second half and overtime. Dan Colamussi scored 17 points. Tim Quashie, who finished with 37 points, hit a three-pointer with three seconds left in regulation to tie it for Westbury (3-2).Glen Cove 71, Valley Stream South 67: Senior Aaron Bresky scored all of his career-high 22 points in the second half to lead Glen Cove (2-2), which trailed 51-36 after the third quarter, in Conference III. Bresky added 12 assists for the Big Red, which went on a 44-16 run in the final 10 minutes. Devin Hayes had 12 points and 10 rebounds. Henoc Bienne scored 29 points for South (1-4).SUFFOLKCommack 70, Patchogue-Medford 68: Nick Arnold, who finished with 27 points and 11 rebounds, hit two free throws with under 1:00 to play to give Commack (2-2) a 70-60 lead in League I. Ahmad Williams scored 18 of his 31 points in a 30-24 fourth quarter for Patchogue-Medford (0-4).

Sachem North 60, Northport 56: Brian Ford hit a short jumper with 1:08 left to give Sachem North (2-2) its first lead of the game at 58-56 in League II. Vinny Vacanti led the Flaming Arrows with 17 points, and Dave Brown added 16 points and 13 rebounds. Charlie Pace led Northport (1-3) with 13 points.

Central Islip 75, Hills East 67: Richard Hobbs scored 14 of his 18 points in a 24-14 third quarter for Central Islip (3-1). Reginald Augustus added 17 points and seven assists, and Derrick Franklin had 17 points and six assists. Tim McKenzie had 10 points and 13 rebounds. Billy Wesnofske led Hills East (2-2) with 16 points.West Babylon 81, Hills West 65: Matt Sullivan scored 22 of his 24 points in the second half for West Babylon (4-0) in League IV. Taylor Frisch added 23 points and Chris Doyle had eight points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Emile Blackman scored 23 points and Tavon Sledge had 21 points for Hills West (2-1).

Bayport-Blue Point 57, Westhampton 56: Adam Berlin hit an 8-footer with 11 seconds left to win it for Bayport-Blue Point (4-1) in League VI. Jesse Schultz's free throws had given Westhampton (2-2) a 56-53 lead with 3:24 to play. Berlin finished with 20 points and six assists and Gary Farley had 18 points and 16 rebounds. Senior Nick Grant scored a career-high 22 points for Westhampton.

Shoreham-Wading River 49, Mount Sinai 47: Ryan McAlary hit 1 of 2 free-throws with three seconds left to give Shoreham-Wading River (3-1) a 49-47 lead and C.J. Higgins stole the ball at the buzzer to seal the win. Higgins hit two foul shots with 30 seconds to play to give SWR a 48-44 lead, but Matt Pellarin (19 points) hit a three-pointer with 10 seconds remaining for Mt. Sinai (2-2). John Kovach led SWR with 26 points and six rebounds.
