Senior DeJuhan Gray hit a school-record eight three-pointers and scored 28 points off the bench as Amityville completed its second straight undefeated League VI season Tuesday with an 83-53 win over Bayport-Blue Point.

The previous record of seven threes was held by NBA players Mike James and A.J. Price. Amityville is 12-0.

Harborfields 91, Rocky Point 53: Justin Ringen had 35 points, including a school-record nine three-pointers, to lead Harborfields (12-0) in League V.

Riverhead 56, Centereach 51: Reggie Moore had five points, six steals and three assists as Riverhead (6-6 League III) clinched a playoff berth.

Smithtown West 60, Smithtown East 57: Tom Whalen's putback with 1:30 left gave Smithtown West (7-5) a five-point lead in League III. Ryan Hickey had 26 points in the win.

West Babylon 82, Huntington 77: Senior Mike Richardson scored a career-high 33 points, including seven three-pointers, to lead West Babylon (8-6) in League IV.

Lawrence Woodmere Academy 67, Bayridge Prep 60: Rokas Lapsys had 23 points and Trent Parrish 19 for LWA (19-3) in a PSAA semifinal. LWA will play Evangel Christian in the final Thursday at 7 p.m. at Long Island Lutheran.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Portledge 74, Upper Room 23: Tamara Simpson had 33 points and 12 steals for No. 1 Portledge (15-0) in an IPPSAL semifinal. Portledge will host Waldorf in the final Thursday at 5 p.m.

Waldorf 50, Solomon Schechter 36: Isabella Fraim had 24 points to lead No. 2 Waldorf (15-4) in an IPPSAL semifinal. Amelia Bayroff led Solomon Schechter with 28 points.

Bay Shore 69, Central Islip 43: Megan Schoberl had 25 points and Courtney Bocchieri had 16 points for Bay Shore (5-9) in League II. Central Islip's Brenda Hornedo (30 points) hit nine threes.

Lindenhurst 59, Half Hollow Hills East 50: Valerie Oyakhilome had 25 points as Lindenhurst (14-0) completed its first undefeated season in League II since 1987, coach Greg Flynn told Newsday.

St. John the Baptist 45, St. Mary's 39: Senior Anastasia Williams had 24 points and a career-high 20 rebounds to lead St. John the Baptist (8-4) in CHSAA.
