Elwood Lamb scored all 12 of his points in the second half, including a tiebreaking jumper with 2 minutes left, to lift visiting Riverhead to a 50-45 win over Smithtown East Tuesday in a Suffolk League III boys basketball game.

Lamb's jumper gave the Blue Waves (4-2) a 42-40 lead. Lamb scored 10 of his points during a 15-13 third quarter. Ben Edmund (13 points) hit a layup with eight seconds to go for the final margin. Alex Sakhno added eight points and 10 rebounds for Riverhead.

Dan Thixton led Smithtown East with 13 points.

Cold Spring Harbor 45, East Rockaway 43: Kevin Porzelt hit a 10-foot jumper with one second left to win it for Cold Spring Harbor (2-5) in Nassau Conference BC. Mike Pezza's rebound set up Porzelt's winning shot. Anthony Terraciano had 10 points and 11 rebounds, and Porzelt and Pezza each had nine points for CSH.

Hempstead 62, Freeport 50: Steven Gray had 17 points, and Tidell Pierre had 10 of his 11 points in the second half to lead Hempstead (4-2) in Conference AA-I.

Uniondale 66, Oceanside 56: Roderick Epps had 19 points and 17 rebounds for Uniondale (4-2) in Conference AA-I. Gene Garay had 22 points for Oceanside.

Great Neck South 55, Mepham 49: Stav Sofi had 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead Great Neck South (6-1) in Conference AA-II. Ben Kestenbaum added 10 points, and Brendan Brown scored nine.

Port Washington 58, Plainview JFK 51: Casey Ozcayir had 18 points, Mike Murphy 15 points and Josh Feshbach had 11 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for Port Washington (1-6) in Conference AA-II.

Jericho 53, Division 43: Jordan Kanzer had 16 points, four assists and two steals to lead Jericho (4-2) in Conference A-I. Corey Miller had 10 points and five assists and Jonathan Orr had 10 points.

Westbury 76, Roslyn 65: Chanse Watson, who shot 14-for-18 from the field, scored 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for Westbury (4-2) in Conference A-I. Tim Quashie added 24 points and seven assists. Sam Greenwald had 22 points for Roslyn.

Friends Academy 58, Locust Valley 49: Travis Hefele had nine of his 21 points and Marc Godlis had six of his 16 in a 24-16 fourth quarter for Friends (5-1) in Conference BC. Alex Rawa led Locust Valley with 25 points.

Lindenhurst 71, Sachem East 64: Sophomore Aaron Coughlin had 17 of his career-high 20 points during a 36-31 first half, and he also contributed five assists for Lindenhurst (2-4) in Suffolk League I. Stu Warren had 18 points and 12 rebounds, and Brandon Hauser added 13 points.

Smithtown West 49, Centereach 47: Adam Luftig made a layup with 12 seconds left to spark Smithtown West (3-3) in League III. Ryan Hickey had 16 points and six steals, and Matt Schultz scored 10 points for the Bulls.

Amityville 78, Westhampton 56: Darien Croft had 24 points, and Richie Hobson added 16 points and nine assists as Amityville (6-0, League VI) qualified for the Suffolk playoffs for the 26th consecutive year. Michael Corrigan had 25 points for Westhampton.

Bayport-Blue Point 60, Mount Sinai 54: Gary Farley had 24 points and was 6-for-8 from the foul line in the fourth quarter for Bayport-Blue Point (5-1) in League VI.

Southampton 75, Hampton Bays 68: Shaundell Fishburn had 21 points and seven assists for Southampton (5-0) in League VII. Onajja Browning had 13 points and 13 rebounds, and Donovan Trent scored 19 points.

Greenport 76, Ross 51: Senior Dantre Langhorne had a career-high 34 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists to lead Greenport (6-0) in League VIII. Jalen Shelby had 19 points, and Tremayne Handsen had 10 points and 10 rebounds for Greenport.

Solomon Schechter 61, Portledge 47: Danny Eiber had 26 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds, and Dan Stecker had 10 points and nine rebounds to lead Solomon Schechter (6-1) in IPPSAL.
