Louis' free throw wins it for Floral Park
Marshall Louis hit a free-throw with nine seconds left in overtime as Floral Park kept its playoff hopes alive with a 58-57 win over Great Neck North Friday in Nassau Conference A-III boys basketball.
Louis' efforts didn't end on the free-throw line as he blocked the shot of a GNN player on the ensuing possession to preserve the win for Floral Park (6-5). GNN's Gilad Zohar (eight points) hit a three at the buzzer to force OT.
Louis finished with 11 points and 12 rebounds and Mark Re added 14 points.
