Trevor Dearstyne won the 100-yard freestyle in 50.71 seconds for a school record, breaking his old mark of 51.16 set earlier this season for Massapequa in a 96-90 win over Wantagh in a boys swimming meet Friday.

Brian Yurasits placed second in the 100 butterfly (1:00.08) and Ravshan Kadirov won the 50 freestyle (23.16) for Massapequa (2-5).

Farmingdale 102, Cold Spring Harbor 91: Greg Carman won the 200 freestyle in 1:52.50 and Tom Gehlbach won the 100 freestyle in 55.57 to lead Farmingdale (3-2).

Syosset 99, Manhasset 78: Scott Holtzman won the 200 individual medley (2:17.81) and 500 freestyle (5:26.88) for Syosset (4-1).

Sachem North 95, Sachem East 85: James Donlevy won the 50-yard freestyle in 23.12 seconds and the 100 freestyle in 50.66 for Sachem North (5-1). Stephen Penteck took first in the 200 IM in 2:08.62 and the 100 butterfly in 59.80.

WRESTLING

Mineola 42, Manhasset 36: Bruno Ferreira pinned Henry Chou in 1:35 at 285 pounds to clinch the match for Mineola (3-3) in Conference 4A.

Ward Melville 51, Patchogue-Medford 24: Mike Battey pinned Zach Sebor in 1:52 in a 145-pound match to lead Ward Melville (2-2) in League I.

Central Islip 39, Whitman 31: Hector Rubio had a key takedown in the third period in a 5-4 decision over Michael O'Rouke at 125 pounds and help Central Islip (5-1) lock up second place in League II. Julian Ming used a headlock on Steven Vallerades to get the fall in 20 seconds at 171 pounds to help seal the win.

Sayville 43, Eastport-South Manor 25: Matt Leshinger defeated Travis Passaro, 4-2, in overtime at 112 pounds for Sayville (2-3) in League V.

Glenn 65, Miller Place 10: Vin Punzone pinned Ryan Brindley in 1:25 at 119 pounds as Glenn improved to 5-0 in League VI. Miller Place dropped to 1-3.

Rocky Point 41, Mount Sinai: 30: Matt Ross won his 197th career match with a pin of Andre Trupia at 1:37 at 152 pounds to lead Rocky Point (4-1) in League VI.

Shoreham-Wading River 50, East Hampton-Bridgehampton-Pierson 31: Ryan Stern won by technical fall at 130 pounds and Joe Bennett pinned Mike Peralta in 3:20 at 145 pounds to lead Shoreham-Wading River (2-3) in League VI.

Westhampton 52, Amityville 30: Peter Broccoli edged Todd Williams, 5-3, in overtime to lift Westhampton (3-1) in League VI.

GIRLS GYMNASTICS

Bethpage 156, Hewlett 136.85: Sarah Ciresi won the uneven bars with a score of 8.9 and Erin Roach won the vault with an 8.25 for Bethpage (5-2) in Conference I. Hewlett's Ali Bevalel won the all-around with a 33.0, including a 9.1 on the floor exercise and an 8.4 on the balance beam.Hicksville 149.25, Hewlett 136.85: Lauren Cecco won vault with an 8.3 and the bars (8.0) for Hicksville (4-3) in Conference I. She finished with an all-around score of 31.4, which was second to Hewlett's Ali Bevalel (33.0).

Port Washington 130.15, Valley Stream Central 127.05: Jessica Medaglia finished second on bars (7.0) for Port Washington (5-3). Jessica Betts won the all-around with a 32.80 after taking first in all four events for VSC.

GIRLS BOWLING

Sachem East 3, Comsewogue 0: Chrissy Malinowski rolled a high of 213 in Game 3 of a 620 series and Jessica Caruana bowled 213 in Game 1 of a 589 series for Sachem East in a 940-921, 916-845, 880-791 win.

BOYS FENCING

Great Neck South 21, Garden City 6:Eugene Park and Alex Smith each went 3-0 in sabre and Josh Graber went 3-0 in epee for Great Neck South (11-0).Hewlett 19, Jericho 8: Isaac Gee was 3-0 in foil and Elad Eliahu went 3-0 in epee for Hewlett (3-7).

Brentwood 16, Whitman 11:Alex Harwood, Brian McGeveran and Marcus Russo each went 3-0 in foil for Brentwood (8-2).

GIRLS TRACK

White third at Yale. Imani White took third place in the weight throw with a toss of 48-0 for Longwood at the Yale Invitational. Her mark is currently the best in New York state.
