Frank Stubbolo scored on a 10-yard run and Kevin Porzelt kicked the extra point with 4:51 left to give Cold Spring Harbor a 7-6 win over Malverne yesterday in Nassau IV. The winning drive took up the first 7:09 of the fourth quarter, spanning 49 yards and 13 plays for Cold Spring Harbor (4-2). Matt Bayern's interception at midfield as time expired in the third quarter set up the drive.

Malverne (2-4) drove the ball down to the 28 yard line on the next possession, but Gene Ball made an interception on Cold Spring Harbor's five yard line to thwart the scoring chance. Malverne had one final possession at the end of the game, but failed to convert a fourth-and-three. Connor Hill grabbed his sixth interception of the season and Chris Rousanis had 10 tackles.

Mineola 28, Seaford 21: Rob Clarkin's 12-yard touchdown pass to Craig Weber in overtime gave Mineola a 28-21 lead, and the Mustangs held off Seaford on the ensuing drive to come away with the win on Friday night.

Clarkin threw a five-yard touchdown pass to Tom Breslin with 12 seconds left in regulation, and Breslin's point-after kick tied the score at 21 for Mineola (3-3) to force overtime.

Clarkin was 15-for-21 for 154 yards and two touchdowns and Breslin had 77 yards on eight catches. Seaford is 3-3.
