Matt Murphy hit a 21-yard field goal with 20 seconds left to lead Seaford over East Rockaway, 17-14, Thursday in Nassau IV. The Vikings (3-2) had a 12-minute, 90-yard drive to set up the field goal. Joe Richards ran for 155 yards and two touchdowns, and made 12 tackles. Alex Rodriguez rushed for 81 yards.

West Hempstead 42, Malverne 7: Justin Boatwright had five carries for 82 yards and a TD, an interception return for a TD and a fumble recovery for West Hempstead (5-0) in Nassau IV. Michael Petrizzo had six carries for 72 yards and two TDs with nine tackles and an interception. Malverne is 2-3.

Cold Spring Harbor 34, Mineola 21: Gene Ball caught a TD pass and returned a punt 90 yards for another score to lead Cold Spring Harbor (3-2) in Nassau IV. Cold Spring Harbor led 21-7 entering the third quarter and held Mineola (2-3) on the opening possession of the half, forcing a punt that Ball returned for the score. CSH had 353 total rushing yards, led by Kevin Porzelt, who had 10 carries for 130 yards, including a 73-yard TD.

Massapequa 50, Port Washington 6: Matt Pagano threw for two TDs and ran for two more as Massapequa (3-2) scored 50 first-half points in Nassau I. T.J. South ran for 105 yards and a TD on 15 carries. Jon Dillon had 12 tackles and two sacks. Port Washington is 0-5.

Hempstead 25, Plainview JFK 14: Malik Howard rushed for 192 yards and two TDs on 25 carries for Hempstead (1-4), which scored the final 12 points in Nassau I. Manny Guzman's 2-yard TD run with 4:30 remaining put Hempstead ahead 19-14, and Howard followed with a 20-yard TD run with 1:10 left.

Manhasset 20, Floral Park 16: Alessandro Troia's 5-yard TD run in the third quarter gave Manhasset the victory in Nassau III. The score capped an 80-yard drive for Manhasset (3-2). Troia had 142 yards and two TDs on 17 carries. Steve Fratello made 13 tackles.

Valley Stream South 38, Roslyn 13: Frank Accardi had nine carries for 150 yards and a TD to lead Valley Stream South (2-3) in Nassau III. Thomas Meaney hit Phil Crisci for a 57-yard TD on VSS's first possession of the second quarter.

Riverhead 34, Whitman 27. Riverhead (5-0) scored two touchdowns in five minutes late in the fourth quarter in Suffolk II. Reggie Moore caught an 11-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Bitzer with 5:12 remaining to tie it, then Bitzer hit Jeremiah Cheatom for a 25-yard score with 1:16 left. Whitman is 2-3.
