Locurcio's overtime goal lifts Hicksville over Lynbrook
Courtney Locurcio scored the winner with 2:12 left in overtime to lift Hicksville over Lynbrook, 8-7, Wednesday in Nassau Conference II girls lacrosse.
Hunter Isnardi (two goals) had tied it at 7 with 57 seconds left in regulation for the Comets (1-1). Locurcio had three goals and Victoria Lomangino made 18 saves in the win.
Locust Valley 9, Syosset 7: Taylor Bleistein had four goals and two assists to lead Locust Valley (2-0) in Conference II. Baire Reilly added three goals and Julia Vezza led a defense that held Syosset to one goal in the second half.
Freeport 13, Plainview JFK 9: Senior Elena Sparaco tied a career high with seven goals to lead Freeport (1-0) in Conference IV. Ashley Gomes added six goals and Brittany Gardner made 12 saves.
Babylon 7, Eastport-South Manor 6: Shelby Fredericks scored the winner with 2:54 left for Babylon (4-0) in Division II. Fredericks, Devyn Antolini and Shannon Hartigan each scored twice for the Panthers.
Kings Park 11, Islip 9: Rebecca Plunket scored five goals to lead Kings Park (1-1) in Division I. Emily Santoli added two goals and three assists.
Rocky Point 17, East Hampton/Bridgehampton/Pierson 11: Senior Alyssa Milano scored a career-high six goals for Rocky Point (2-1) in League II. Alyssa Guido added a goal and five assists.
Huntington 20, Greenport/Southold/Mattituck 9: Senior Hannah Burnett scored a career-high eight goals and had three assists to lead Huntington (3-0) in Division II. Alexis Thompson added three goals and five assists.
Northport 13, Good Counsel (Md.) 5: Allie Pavinelli had five goals and three assists to lead Northport (3-0) in non-league. Dorrien Van Dyke added four goals.

Ian Reill made 14 saves in the win. Ted Connelly's goal had tied it at 3 with four minutes left in regulation for Island Trees.
Glen Cove 4, Herricks 3: Rakim Lilly scored the winner with 1:44 left for Glen Cove (1-3) in non-league. Ryan Perkins had two goals and an assist for the Big Red.
