Pilson scores 21 points to lead Portledge
Zach Pilson scored 21 points for Portledge in a 48-42 win over Lexington in an IPPSAL boys basketball game last night.
Pilson added six assists and three steals and scored 18 of his 21 in the first half as Portledge led 36-20 at the break. Adeola Adegbite had eight points, 18 rebounds and four assists for Portledge (8-4).
Lawrence Woodmere 68, St. Demetrious 50: Jamal Benn had 18 points and Jerome Hayden added 15 points for Lawrence Woodmere Academy (10-0, PSAA). Jacob Cayne had 13 points and Brandon Houghnou added 10 points and 12 rebounds for LWA, which earned the top seed in the PSAA playoffs and will host a semifinal on Tuesday. girls basketball
