Gianna Arone scored the only goal of the game on a corner with 2:10 left in the second half to lead Commack to a 1-0 victory over Lindenhurst in a Suffolk I field hockey game on Tuesday. Maggie Schumacher had the assist and Meghan DeLaiarro made six saves for Commack (5-9). Julia Polander made 10 saves for Lindenhurst (2-13).

Smithtown East 2, Patchogue-Medford 0: Melissa Beach scored and had an assist to lead Smithtown East (10-4) in Suffolk I. Casey Connelly added a goal. Kate Comiskey made 13 saves for Patchogue-Medford (9-5).

Ward Melville 2, Bay Shore/Islip 0: Lily Tamburo and Hadley Torre each scored and Alex Cotlet made two saves to lead Ward Melville (14-1) in Suffolk I. Morgan Cousins made nine saves for Bay Shore/Islip (7-9).

Floyd 4, Newfield 0: Gianna Trotta had a goal and two assists to lead Floyd (10-4) in Suffolk I. Alexis Caldwell, Ava Lynn Furman and Kaleigh Benson each added a goal and Samantha Seaman and Olivia Cizan had assists. Karlie Sitler made 10 saves and Kylee Gerken made six saves for Newfield (4-10).

Huntington 5, Connetquot 0: Caroline Mitek scored three goals and Ava Bencivenga had two goals to lead Huntington (9-6) in Suffolk I. Addison Iocca made 19 saves for Connetquot (4-10).

Centereach 2, North Babylon 0: Reilly McCarthy and Isabella Koch each scored a goal and Skylar Macca and Brianna Brennan each had an assist to lead Centereach (9-6) in Suffolk I. Mansha Bathija made 12 saves for North Babylon (1-13).

Bay Shore 6, Copiague 2: Ager Agirregomezkorta scored three goals and Isaac Carrillo had two assists to lead Bay Shore (11-4-1) in Suffolk I. Stiven Gereda recorded 10 saves. Isaac Garcia made five saves and Kendel Serranno recorded three saves for Copiague (2-12-2).

Brentwood 6, Lindenhurst 1: Jessy Pacheco had a goal and three assists and Nelson Sanchez had a goal and an assist to lead Brentwood (15-0-1) in Suffolk I. Alija Gardener had two goals and Ezequiel Umanzor had his first varsity goal. Max Lombardo scored and Christopher Mejia made 12 saves for Lindenhurst (6-6-4).

Kings Park 1, Rocky Point 0: Matt Langino scored the only goal of the game off of an assist from Massimo Rosamilia and Andrew Bonino made five saves to lead Kings Park (12-3) in Suffolk III. Aidan Todaro made eight saves for Rocky Point (6-5-3).

Miller Place 3, Amityville 0: Erik Eichler had two assists and Connor Draskin and Chris Mylett Jr. each made four saves for Miller Place (10-4-1) in Suffolk III. Mohamad Fakhro, Lorenzo Killary and Nick Russo each scored. Cesar Hernandez made four saves for Amityville (8-6-2).

Jericho 7, Wheatley 0: Edward Chang won, 21-14, 21-14, in first singles and Owen He and Alex Li won, 21-8, 21-14, in first doubles to lead top-seeded Jericho (15-1) over No. 5 Wheatley in the Nassau Tournament semifinals. Jericho will play the winner of No. 2 Great Neck South and No. 3 Plainview-OB JFK in the championship at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at a site to be determined.
