BREAKING: Rangers send Michal Rozsival to Coyotes for Wojtek Wolski

The Rangers are definitely going with the kids -- Rozsival, with a year at $5-million left on his contract, is off to the Coyotes for 24-year-old winger Wolski, a former first-round pick of the Avalanche who has six goals and 16 points in 36 games this season.

Rozsival, 32, had been a steady contributor and the longest-serving member of the current Rangers, along with Henrik Lundqvist; Rozsival flourished during the Jaromir Jagr years, got himself a four-year, $20-million deal and battled injuries and occasional indecision during the John Tortorella years.

Rozsival also had a limited no-trade clause, but Phoenix was not on the eight teams on his list he could refuse a deal to.

Wolski, who has another season with a $3.8-million cap hit, saves the Rangers some salary cap space and hopefully will provide the scoring touch that Alex Frolov didn't bring.
