The Islanders will call Brooklyn home starting next season, but their top prospects will get an early look at the team's new digs.

The Isles' annual Blue and White Scrimmage will be held at Barclays Center on July 8 at 7 p.m., the team announced Wednesday.

The game, which has been played since 2006, features the Islanders' top prospects in an intrasquad scrimmage. The players also participate in a skills competition afterward.

The team's 2015 draft class will be in attendance, just a week and a half after they are drafted. The organization's other top prospects are expected to play, including 2014 first-round picks Michael Dal Colle and Joshua Ho-Sang, 2013 first-rounder Ryan Pulock and 2012 first-rounder Griffin Reinhart.

Current Islanders who have played in the scrimmage include John Tavares, Kyle Okposo, Frans Nielsen, Anders Lee, Matt Martin, Brock Nelson, Josh Bailey, Travis Hamonic, Casey Cizikas, Calvin de Haan, Scott Mayfield and Ryan Strome.

Tickets for the scrimmage are $10, with 50 percent of the proceeds going to the Brooklyn Events Center Foundation, and are available starting Friday at Barclays Center's website or Ticketmaster as well as at the box office the following day.
