The Islanders will be back on the ice in just about three months.

The team released its six-game preseason schedule on Monday consisting of three home-and-home series with the Rangers, Devils and Flyers.

With the preseason opener on Sept. 22 against the Devils at Prudential Center, that likely means the Islanders will open training camp on Sept. 17 or Sept. 18.

The full regular-season schedule likely will be released next week, prior to the NHL Draft in Las Vegas on June 28-29.

The Islanders will play their first three preseason games on the road, including against the Rangers at Madison Square Garden on Sept. 24 and at Philadelphia on Sept. 26.

Their first of three preseason matches at UBS Arena will be Sept. 27 against the Devils. The Flyers visit on Sept. 30, and the Islanders will conclude their preseason slate against the Rangers on Oct. 4.

Faceoff for all six games will be 7 p.m.
