Tavares named to All-Rookie team
Islanders center John Tavares was named to the All-Rookie team tonight at the NHL Awards in Las Vegas.
In addition to Tavares, who finished with 24 goals and 30 assists this season, Michael Del Zotto (NYR), Matt Duchene (COL), Tyler Myers (BUF), Niclas Bergfors (ATL) and Jimmy Howard (DET) were also named to the squad.
