(Steinbrenner and Breslin have several things in common, such as being born in 1930, hosting "Saturday Night Live" and filling up many column inches in Newsday with colorful material.)
BTW, Tuesday's All-Star Game attracted a record-low average of 7.5 percent of American homes.
