Butch Goring expected to return to MSG Networks' Islanders booth Tuesday

Butch Goring is expected to return to MSG Networks' Islanders booth on Tuesday night after missing time as he recovered from shoulder surgery.
Goring, a member of the Islanders’ four Stanley Cup-winning teams and a longtime MSG analyst, has been in and out of the lineup in recent months, with several different analysts filling in for him alongside play-by-play man Brendan Burke.
Burke and Goring are set to be reunited as the Islanders host the Panthers in their first home game since the death of Mike Bossy, a former teammate of Goring.
Neil Best first worked at Newsday in 1982, returned in 1985 after a detour to Alaska and has been here since, specializing in high schools, college basketball, the NFL and most recently sports media and business.
