Cablevision - which owns Newsday, and thus WatchDog - is planning a service to help customers watch computer-based stuff on their TV monitors.
This sort of thing is coming whether cable companies want to accept it or not, so Cablevision is staying ahead of the curve, as is the company's history with technology.
