Canada enjoys Olympic hockey
Not surprisingly, ratings for Olympic men's hockey in Canada continue to be ridonkulous.
An average of 10.5 million people saw Canada's game against Russia Wednesday, making it the second most-watched sports event in the nation's history, behind only the 10.6 million for the game against the U.S. Sunday.
I have to go now to do work for the newspaper and to prepare mentally for sports media gridlock at 3 p.m.:
U.S. vs. Finland on NBC.
Steve Phillips vs. Mike Francesa on WFAN.
And a look back on ESPN at the St. John's-Georgetown "Sweater Game" 25 years ago and what has become of St. John's basketball since then.
