ESPN's 'E:60' turns 5
A laurel and hearty handshake to ESPN's "E:60," which begins its fifth season at 8 p.m. Wednesday with reports on Nnamdi Asomugha, Ickey Woods, boxer Christy Martin and the making of ESPN the Magazine's "Body Issue." (Two words: Gretchen Bleiler.)
The show, whose correspondents include Jeremy Schaap, Cornell Class of '91, has been a valuable addition to regularly scheduled TV sports journalism alongside the long-running HBO "Real Sports."
The more of that stuff the merrier. Congratulations on the milestone.
