Garden set to host 3D spree
Speaking of the Garden (see post below), officials are mighty excited about tonight's historic 3D telecast of the Rangers-Islanders game.
It will be the first hockey game shot in 3D, and the first live sports event sent to homes with 3D televisions, which only have been on the market for a short time.
If you have one or know someone who does, please let me know. I'm at nbest@newsday.com. Thank you.
Speaking of hockey, NHL commissioner Gary Bettman (Cornell Class of '74), was on WFAN this morning with Boomer and Carton to talk about . . . what else? Cornell basketball.
It's getting weirder and weirder by the day, people!
