Giants-Packers earns big TV rating

The Giants' upset of the Packers on Sunday averaged 27.4 percent of homes in major markets on Fox, the best for a divisional round game since 1997 and up from 26.2 for the Jets-Patriots game in the same time slot on CBS last year.
The game averaged 53.7 percent of homes in the Milwaukee area and 33.4 in New York.
Viewership estimates were not available Monday because of the holiday.
