This will be only the second time since 1980 that the Jets and Giants both miss the playoffs for three consecutive years -- the other was 1994-96 -- a drought that not surprisingly is affecting secondary market ticket prices.

According to TiqIQ, a resale market aggregator, the average asking price for Monday night's Dolphins-Jets game as of early this week was $97.05, the lowest for a Jets game in the five-season history of MetLife Stadium.

The lowest asking price for any ticket was $17.

Average prices for Giants home games have slid under $300, with the Dec. 14 game against the Redskins going for $265.02 and Dec. 28 against the Eagles for $288.83.
