Matt Harvey's Citi Field start nets strong SNY rating

The Mets started Matt Harvey on Tuesday night in part to sell more tickets at Citi Field -- a strategy that worked. Television viewers also responded to Harvey's first home start since 2013.
The Mets' victory over the Phillies averaged 4.32 percent of area homes, SNY's best rating since July 5, 2012. It averaged 429,161 viewers, SNY's highest such figure since June 23, 2010.
Neil Best first worked at Newsday in 1982, returned in 1985 after a detour to Alaska and has been here since, specializing in high schools, college basketball, the NFL and most recently sports media and business.
