Mike Wilbon leaves WaPo
Younger readers/TV watchers might not be aware of the fact Mike Wilbon is an old newspaperman, just like his PTI partner Tony Kornheiser.
It's true! Well, they were, past tense. Kornheiser (who began his career at Newsday) left the Washington Post a while back, and Wilbon joined him with this farewell column.
Mike is on to full time work for ESPN. He'll be contributing to ESPN.com, ESPNChicago.com, ESPN the Ocho and who knows what else.
Good luck, sir!
