NFL Network to carry AFL
The recently reconstituted, 15-team Arena Football League will return in 2010, armed with a new deal with the NFL Network to televise a game every Friday night beginning April 2.
The league's championship game will appear on the network the weekend of Aug. 20-23.
Long Islanders no longer have a team in the AFL (RIP, Dragons) and most do not get the NFL Network, so the arrangement works out sort of nicely.
