Sports Business Journal is out with its season-ending wrapup of local baseball ratings, and the Phillies edged the Cardinals for the top spot, 9.1 percent of area homes to 9.0.

The Phillies' ratings have risen in nine consecutive seasons, an amazing run.

The Dodgers and Angels were tied for last place with average ratings of 1.14 apiece.

The Indians' ratings rose 108.9 percent over last season and the Padres' fell 41.4 percent.

But this is the most amazing, depressing stat of the baseball ratings season:

The Rays' ratings fell 37.5 percent compared to last season despite their historic late-season run to a wild-card berth.
