Rooney Mara outplays Giants, Steelers

The Giants bombed Sunday. The Steelers bombed Monday.

But this Tuesday morning Rooney Mara - great-granddaughter of both teams' founders - is doing her part to salvage her family's reputation.

The 26-year-old actress opened to good reviews for her role in "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo." (Reviews of the movie itself have been mixed.)

The Giants and Steelers could have used her character's, um, aggressive approach in their losses to the Redskins and 49ers in Week 15.
