Well, here’s one reason to root for a quick end to the NBA lockout:
Turner Sports announced Thursday that recently retired Shaquille O’Neal will join the network as an analyst for the 2011-12 season, including a spot on TNT’s popular studio show alongside Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson.
The agreement also includes a development deal with Turner’s entertainment and animation networks.
“The addition of The Big Analytical will be terrific,” Smith said in a statement released by Turner. “I can’t wait to make verbal passes to the most dominant center of our time.”
Said Barkley: “He is a great addition to our team, and in the immortal words of Bart Scott: Can’t wait!
