Todd Zeile is expected to replace Nelson Figueroa as SNY’s lead Mets studio analyst alongside host Gary Apple for next season, although the network’s precise plans have not been finalized.
Figueroa likely will stay with SNY in another capacity.
The New York Post first reported SNY’s studio plans.
Zeile played two seasons for the Mets, including their 2000 National League-pennant winning team. Figueroa, also a former Met, replaced Bob Ojeda in the studio in 2015.
