George Roop is tall and lanky, which makes for awkward falls when he gets blasted in the face.

Rob Font, in his promotion debut, proved that Saturday night at UFC 175 when he knocked out Roop in a bantamweight fight on the prelims.

Font landed a huge right to Roop's jaw. Roop (15-12-1) then slowly stumbled forward, collapsing like origami. Font (11-1) moved in and landed another shot while the referee was moving in to stop the bout in the first round.

"The first minute of the fight I wasn’t as agile as I wanted to be," Font said. "I had a tough time getting my jab going and finding range. I started forcing my shots and then the hook connected that dropped him."
