The first time UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo fought Chad Mendes, it ended in a knockout. Aldo delivered a crushing knee to Mendes' head that stopped the bout with a few seconds left in the first round.

Since that January 2012 night in Brazil, Mendes (16-1) has won five straight, including four finishes. Aldo (24-1) hasn't lost since 2005.

Aldo defends his title against Mendes in the main event of UFC 179 at the Ginásio do Maracanãzinho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Saturday, Oct. 25. Here's the fight card.
