SEVILLE, Spain — Sevilla said Tuesday it has signed Scottish striker Robbie Ure on a contract until 2031.

The Spanish club did not immediately disclose the financial details for the transfer of the 22-year-old player from Swedish side IK Sirius.

Ure, who has represented Scotland up to the under-21 level, scored 15 goals in 15 appearances in this year's Swedish league which began in April, Sevilla said. He scored 10 goals in his last six games with Sirius.

Sevilla said Ure came through the youth academy at Glasgow Rangers before moving to Belgium, where he joined Anderlecht’s youth squads ahead of his move to Sirius.

Sevilla finished 13th in last season's Spanish league, one point above the relegation zone. It makes its debut this season against Rayo Vallecano at home on Saturday.
