Spectator alert: LIRR trains skipping Woodside

The Long Island Rail Road just issued an alert that "due to a track condition," trains are not currently stopping at Woodside.
This impacts anyone planning to use the LIRR to get to the U.S. Open, since Woodside is a hub used by many riders to connect with the eastbound Port Washington line, which leads to the Mets - Willets Point stop.
Assuming the "track condition" is not cleared up, if you are thinking of taking the train to the U.S. Open, you have two options:
1) Take a westbound train from Port Washington to the Mets-Willets Point station.
2) Take any westbound train all the way in to Penn Station, then catch an eastbound Port Washington line train to the Mets-Willets Point station.
Depending on how close you live to Port Washington, this could add serious time to your trip. Plan accordingly.
