A day after a British tabloid declared a love triangle involving Emma Watson - the "Harry Potter" films' Hermione - and "Twilight" stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, the Watson camp has flatly denied it.

"There is no feud, nor any hint of one," a representative for Watson told the celebrity-gossip site Celebuzz.com. "This is a complete case of mischief making."

The British magazine Heat said Stewart, 20, who plays love-struck Bella Swan in the "Twilight" teen-vampire movies, was upset that Watson, also 20, was "trying to steal" Pattinson, 24, who plays the dreamy vamp Edward Cullen. Stewart and Pattinson have been widely reported to be a couple.

The magazine cited sources as saying, "Rob has commented before on how cute he thinks Emma is and Kristen worries that he would have more in common with her because she's British."

Claims of bad blood between the actresses initially arose last month after a Pattinson fan site said he and Watson would star in a remake of the obscure Canadian love-triangle comedy "Dark Arc" (2004).

The British editions of Marie Claire and Glamour also ran the item on their websites, fueling its spread - even though a representative for Pattinson almost immediately told the site Gossip Cop that the rumor was "untrue."
