Country still rules the pop charts this week, as Toby Keith’s “Bullets in the Gun” replaces Kenny Chesney’s “Hemingway Whiskey” in the No. 1 spot.
Keith’s “Bullets” is a record-setter, with its 71,000 copies marking the smallest debut-week tally to reach the top since 1991, when Nielsen SoundScan started keeping track. Chesney’s “Whiskey” slipped to No. 2 on sales of 65,000.
Bruno Mars’ “Doo-Wops and Hooligans” debuted at No. 3, with 55,000 sales for the week. Rounding out the Top 5 are Eminem’s “Recovery” at No. 4 and Zac Brown Band’s “You Get What You Give” at No. 5.
