"Girl From the North Country" is about to head back to the big city.

Producers of the musical which features the songs of Bob Dylan announced on Friday that the show will return to Broadway on April 29 for 50 performances at the Belasco Theatre. The limited run will end on June 11.

““We are so thrilled to bring this incredible production back to Broadway and to return to our home at the Belasco Theatre,” said producers Tristan Baker and Charlie Parsons. "As Broadway’s recovery continues, we are so grateful to be a part of this exciting season and to give more audiences a chance to visit us in the North Country and experience the magic of Bob Dylan’s songs and [playwright-director] Conor McPherson’s remarkable storytelling."

"Girl From the North Country" opened on March 5, 2020, just one week before the Broadway lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. The show reopened on Oct. 13 then closed once again on Jan. 23 during the height of the omicron surge. Prior to its Broadway run, the production played London's Old Vic in 2017. It also enjoyed a successful run Off-Broadway presented by the Public Theater in 2018.

Set in 1934 in Duluth, Minnesota, during the Great Depression, "Girl From the North Country" features nearly two dozen Dylan songs including "Like a Rolling Stone," "Sign on the Window," "Forever Young" and the title number. The cast includes Mare Winningham, Todd Almond, Jay O. Sanders and Craig Bierko, who is replacing Marc Kudisch.
