Paula Abdul: She's got a job, finally

  Yes, good news, etc.

  Our Paula has finally been gainfully employed. She's the lead judge on that CBS reality show,  "Got to Dance."

  No word on launch date.

  So much for "The X Factor."  This, by the way, has been rumored for some time, but there were so many possibililties - even, believe it or not, a return to "Idol" - that it was hard to figure out which rumor was real and which was balderdash. This is a perfect fit, insofar as Pabdul is a ridiculoulsy huge fan of "Dancing with the Stars," which tapes next door to "American Idol."  The most persistent rumor was Pabdul to "DWTS," though most likely as a contestant - which wouldn't have really been fair, insofar as she IS a professional choreographer. This looks like a very good move for her...

  My only wish: That CBS slots this directly opposite Simon's "X Factor" and that it  actually WINS.
