There may still be 'Hope' for Skyler Stone

'Hope" may not be lost for Skyler Stone.
The door seems to at least be ajar for Stone, who played Lucas Neff's slacker cousin Mike on the premiere of the Fox sitcom "Raising Hope," to return to the show.
"Nothing is written in stone as to whether I'll be back, but the creator of the show, Greg Garcia, has talked about it happening and he's a real stand-up guy," says Stone. When we last left Mike, he had run off with a girl and joined a cult.
If Garcia needs any more convincing, one of Stone's fans from Pasadena has started a Facebook campaign urging other fans to help get Stone back on the show.
Stone's early roles included bits in movies ("Van Wilder") and TV shows ("Lost"). But it was appearances on game shows that changed his luck. He lost on "Whammy! The All-New Press Your Luck," but producers liked his quirkiness and invited him back for a tournament of losers. He fared better on "Dog Eat Dog," winning $25,000, which he used to write and shoot a TV pilot for a show called "Con," which he sold to Comedy Central.
Though Stone remains "Hope"-full for a call from Garcia, he's busy with other projects. He recently completed "Hostel 3," the latest installment in the horror franchise, where he provides the comic relief.
But a call would be nice. "Not a lot of comedies would have a character go off and join a cult or a commune," Stone says. "I've been thinking about how many ways I could return and take that character with such a plot point that's been handed to me."
