Long Beach School District technology questionnaire

These are the replies from some districts to the Newsday questionnaire regarding the use of new technologies in their classrooms.

Some of the answers are elaborate, and have not been edited or reduced. Some districts did not answer the questions directly.

District officials have reported that they have installed over 200 SmartBoards throughout our district - Pre-K - 12, for staff and student use. Wireless Laptop carts are utilized throughout the district for students and staff using instructional applications such as enVisions, FastMath, Expert21, Read180, Discovery Streaming, BrainPop, Enchanted Learning, Rosetta Stone. and Castle Learning. 2. We are exploring IPads as a pilot for 5th graders for the 2011-12 school year.
