Schools now get full Newsday.com and digital paper access

By using your school’s IP address, we’re able to provide complimentary access to newsday.com for ALL schools on Long Island. No logins are needed while on school grounds, and full access now includes the digital paper. To make sure your school is set up, we require your school IP address or IP address range. LI business owners under 30

Meet the Long Islanders, all ages 30 and under, who have already launched successful brick-and-mortar businesses. From a millennial who now owns a shop she used to work for to a high schooler who opened a record store to a 26-year-old who started a café bakery in her aunt's honor, these young Long Islanders can inspire your students to become a vital part of LI's economy in the future. The story was featured on multiple platforms, like Instagram.
Local geography lesson

This month, New York State approved a new redistricting map that realigns LI congressional districts. This interactive coverage showcases how the map would radically change Long Island's representation, and redraw the lines so that the north shore of LI would actually share representation with places across the LI Sound. Newsday also broke news this month of the new area code coming to Nassau County.
