Releasing a photo of the victim Friday, police are asking the public's help in locating the person -- or persons -- who killed Marvin Fuentes-Serrano, 27, of Roosevelt.
Police said Fuentes-Serrano, also known as Dino, was found in a wooded area of Mill Pond Park just after 4 p.m. Sunday. Insp. Kenneth Lack, a police spokesman, said Serrano's injuries made it obvious he had been killed.
Police ask anyone with information to contact Homicide detectives at 516-573-7788 or call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
