A 33-year-old man is in critical condition after he was pulled unresponsive from a swimming pool at his East Northport residence early Saturday, Suffolk County police said.

Abudakr Haq was found in the pool at the Teaneck Drive house by his wife and a visiting guest around 2:10 a.m. Responding to a 911 call, EMS workers performed CPR and he was taken to Huntington Hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Police continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information to contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.

It is the second such incident in Huntington Town in less than a week.  On May 19 at 2 p.m., a Huntington Station man was pulled unresponsive from a West Hills swimming pool and taken to Huntington Hospital in critical condition.
